Welcome. My name is Václav Vančura.
I am male, 32, born in Liberec, Czech Republic, but with a few exceptions I’ve been living in Prague.

As I wrote in the header, most of the time I create user interfaces, from the concept and design, through actual implementation to deployment. I have worked on several platforms like Flash, web, games… I have even created interfaces for information kiosks and offline devices. I am able to switch to a new platform very quickly with a minimal effort. I am open to new ways and technologies to be able to do these things I love to craft.

While using these different skills I am able to produce a project from concept to finalization and deployment. I learned to work on projects all way long from start to finish – and I love it that way. Subsequent support guaranteed.

Other interests

When the work is over and there’s some energy to spend, I draw and animate my own stories. I think I found a perfect recipe for me: I like to combine illustration, animation and sound, which currently only Flash is able to supply. Honestly on the other side I think I wouldn’t be happy to use just a paper and pencil: this media can’t be animated or provided with sound and music – I believe audio is 50 % of the whole effect, and it applies to a successful rich media presentation as well.

I was a member of groups Neurobion, Jsem.cz and Mimo, before they split.

Václav’s commitment to work is hard to find: he is able to realize excellent products, in a timely manner, because of it and his passion.
